A former #1 All Star Wall Street Journal Analyst, he has extensive expertise in alternative investment valuation, including marking illiquid investments to market for financial and investor reporting. Clients include hedge funds and private equity firms, as well as investment advisors, institutional investors, and broker dealers. His industry expertise also extends to other financial institutions including banks, thrifts, and insurance firms.

Steve has acted as financial advisor to many companies engaged in transactions. These engagements have included divestitures, fairness opinions, initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, rating agency review, feasibility studies, and due diligence. He has also executed a wide variety of engagements for financial reporting and tax purposes, as well as dispute resolution.
