Andres Pinter

Andres Pinter is a Senior Managing Director at Ankura, based in Los Angeles. He has experience as a leader, advisor, and investor across diverse industries and situations. The lion’s share of his 30-year career has been dedicated to advising and investing in companies undergoing restructurings, turnarounds, and distressed situations.

His expertise includes:

• Lender and Secured Lender Advisory services for a range of clients, including a logistics and transportation service provider, a global ground transportation services company, a luxury hotel and casino in Las Vegas, a chemical manufacturing company, a fresh produce supplier, a national towing company, a marketing communications company, and a global packaging solutions provider.
• Debtor-In-Possession Financing for a leading lifestyle brand company, a residential homebuilder, a grocery retail company, a major dairy producer, a national home appliance retailer, and a pharmaceutical company.
• Unsecured Lender Advisory services for a steel manufacturing company, an electronics manufacturing company, a footwear retailer, a New York-based medical center, a pharmaceutical research company, and a financial services company.
• Interim Management and Company-Side Advisory services for one of North America’s largest distributors of consumer goods, a healthcare payment solutions provider, an educational content and technology provider, a car rental service, a valve manufacturing company, an oil recycling company, and a premium seafood supplier.
• Sell-Side M&A advisory for a major UK bank involving a portfolio of distressed loans, a major food distribution company’s acquisition of a North American consumer goods distributor, the sale of an international electronics company to a global electronics manufacturing services provider, and a fast-food restaurant chain’s acquisition by a global fast-food corporation.

Before joining Ankura, Andres co-founded and was co-CEO of Bullet EV Charging Solutions LLC, an infrastructure and renewables services provider. He previously held the position of Managing Director and Head of Restructuring and Western Region Originations at Ares Management, where he managed problem loan restructurings and workouts for the asset-based lending portfolio. He previously co-founded Ivy Hill Asset Management, an asset manager with over $13 billion in assets under management. Andres was also a Managing Director and Founder of Parkfield Capital Advisors, a middle-market investment advisory firm, that was a joint venture partner with Fortress Investment Group.

Andres began his career as a financial analyst at a preeminent middle market investment bank and held significant roles such as Manager in the Restructuring Group of one of the Big Four accounting firms and Vice President of a direct lending fund focused on restructuring and special situations. He also served as Managing Director of the Restructuring Advisory group at another Big Four firm, where he played a key role in revitalizing their restructuring and investment banking practices.
